法兰西共和国(法语:République française,英语:the French Republic),简称法国,是一個本土位于西欧并具有海外大区及领地的单一主权制国家,首都为其经济和文化重镇巴黎(Paris)。巴黎是法国第一大城市和欧洲第二大城市,位于法国北部巴黎盆地的中央,横跨塞纳河(seine)两岸,历史悠久,从法兰克王国起一直为法国的行政中心,是世界四大国际化都市之一。该国本土由地中海一直延伸至英吉利海峡及北海,并由莱茵河一直延伸至大西洋,整体呈六角状;与西班牙及摩洛哥为同时拥有地中海及大西洋海岸线的三个国家。法国面积位列全球第四十二位,但却为欧盟及西欧国土面积最辽阔的国家,宏观整个欧洲则为第三。

UPMC:Internet Technology and Architecture(ITA)[编辑]

UPMC offers a specialisation in user-centric networking with courses in advanced routing and switching, network security, large networks, QoS and multimedia networks, digital communications, network management and traffic control. The focus will be on offering a complete and consistent vision of networking architectures and technologies both in wired and wireless/mobile environments, at access and core networks. This programme will aim to provide a rigorous theoretical knowledge and understanding of current issues as well as detailed practical experience of advanced networking technologies and architectures. The objective is to respond to the strong industry demand of high level network engineers and specialists. This programme in essence is thought out to make the students aware of the requirements, constraints, and evolutions that the networking industry has to cope with; it naturally trains them to be destined for a high level industrial career, particularly in the field of research and innovation.

Dr. Prométhée Spathis is the coordinator of the Internet Technology Architecture major. He is an associate professor at UPMC in the Networkand Performance Analysis group. He received both M.Sc (1998) and his Ph.D. in Computer (2003) Science from UPMC. Over the years, Dr. Spathis has supervised over 20 Master’s Thesis and 4 Doctor of Science Thesis. He has been involved in European projects (European Commission’s 6th and 7thFramework Programmes) and coordination actions, as well as many national research projects. He has also participated to several French scientific-technological cooperation programmes with South America.He is currently co-advising two PhD students in the research areas of content-based architectures and content dissemination in vehicular networks.

Institute Mines-Telecom/ Telecom Bretagne:Internet Technology and Architecture(IoT): Internet of Things(IoT)[编辑]

Internet connectivity has been widely deployed in the last decade and is now present not only in every house and office, but also in many personal, mobile communication and entertainment devices. However, with the rise of the Internet of Things (IoT) and the development of Machine-to-Machine communications the number of interconnected devices is expected to explode and to reach many billions by the end of the decade. Such evolution of the Internet opens the way to imagining a large panel of new services, but also raises several technical hurdles that have to be addressed: energy issues both in the terminal side and in the infrastructure; scalability issues for traffic management, QoS management, routing, addressing; heterogeneity of technologies; radio spectrum management (as many of such devices will be wirelessly connected to the network). Furthermore, new business models should be envisioned to foster the development of innovative services.

Laurent Toutain is is the coordinator for ITA major and he is currently an Associate Professor at Telecom Bretagne in the Network and Multimedia Department. His main research topics are IPv6, high-speed networking and network metrology. His main focus in the IPv6 area is on the transition mechanism. He is co-author of the IPv4/IPv6 transition mechanism DSTM (Dual Stack Transition Mechanism). Laurent Toutain works on network auto-configuration with IPv6, especially for home networking environments. He has participated to the study of the impact of IPv6 in the ROHC (Robust Header Compression) protocol, which will be used in 3G networks to compress IPv6 headers. He is the author of several books on networking and editor of the O'Reilly book entitled "IPv6: Théorie et Pratique" (http://g6.asso.fr/livre). He is a founding member of the G6 group, which regroups, since 1995, the French-speaking researchers on IPv6. He is a member of the IPv6 Task Force and he also participates in the organization of the ETSI plugtest on IPv6. He has given several tutorials on IPv6. Since 2005, he works in the promotion of IPv6 applications in the Point6 skill center located in Brittany.

在法国高等教育署的网站上找到预签证程序的信息,其中涉及到前往法国所需进行的各项步骤。对于所有希望到法国进行学习和继续深造的学生来说,预签证程序是必不可少的前期程序。注意我们是英语授课项目,因此在预签过程中不需要进行法语测试,但需要提供相关证明材料。学生需要在法国高等教育署的网站上注册,创建他们的个人页面,在页面中可以打开一个标有他们姓名的文档,学生今后可以在文档中查询信息。

Etudes en France系统是法国外交及欧洲事务部为电子化处理学生材料所使用的官方系统。 它可以使学生在线管理全部程序(表格查询、注册法语考试、选择面试等)。通过使用留言系统,学生可以通过Etudes en France系统向法国高等教育署提出所有想要了解的问题。此外,Etudes en France系统可以全部信息化处理申请人的材料,大量缩短等待时间,提供实时查询材料进度。使用Etudes en France系统需要一个高速的宽带网络,某一些页面显示会比较缓慢。

到了巴黎以后花三百来欧申请学生ImageR交通年卡,只有每年秋季入学的时候才能申请。

使情况办理交通卡,也有学生价。因为学校在郊区所以可以花95Euro左右买个自行车。平时进市区少的话也可以按次买票。
